Come
to Anneke's and you will be greeted with a warm smile.
Then you will be given the grand tour of our extensive needlework
showroom. Make sure that you have some time on your hands
because it will take a while to browse through our huge inventory.
We carry a ton of hand-painted needlepoint canvases and fibers,
the most wonderful selection of knitting yarns, needles, books,
patterns, accesories and much more.We
have a number of cozy sitting areas in the shop where you can a
rest to take it all in, do a little stitching or browsing through
books and patterns. Or visit with friends. Or just hang
out while your other half is having fun in the shop.We
also welcome you to come and sit at one of our tables, to work on
your most current project. If we have a moment, we just may
sit down and stitch or knit right along with you, even though it
is not our alloted KnitWits time. Any excuse to do what we
love most! Even moreso now that we have Direct TV in the shop....
watch a little show, knit and stitch..... heaven! Anneke’s
Needleworks is a shop filled with luscious yarns and with beautifully
hand-painted canvases and a wonderful selection of fibers. We have
two "knitting" rooms and then there are several “theme”
areas where our customers can leisurely look through the canvases
and make their selections. For example, our Holiday area consists
of hand-painted canvases for Christmas, Halloween, Hanukah, Easter,
July 4th – if it’s a holiday, we probably have
it documented on canvas!
Anneke’s Needleworks is sure to meet the needs of all
knitters and stitchers, be it the expert , the discriminating or
the occasional  knitter
or stitcher, or the beginner. We
have yarns and canvases to meet all different tastes and knitting
and stitching levels! If it’s out there we either have it in
stock, or we can find it for you. We carry a very extensive selection
of yarns, canvases and needlepoint fibers for you to choose from,
a selection that is constantly expanding!
At Anneke’s we also carry many accessories, those which
you might need to enhance your knitting and stitching experience,
or those that will enhance your finished product. Speaking of finished
products, we offer only the very best in finishing! We know how
very important it is to have your stitched masterpiece transformed
into a beautiful heirloom! That is why we have selected finishers
that provide not only the highest of finishing quality, but also
great, innovative ideas. Talk to Lisa about finishing
of your wonderful knitted garments. And, please take a moment

 Have
you met our cats? This is our calico "Purl"
having a little rest after romping through the store with her
sister, "Gigi." You
may have noticed that they live for customers to  come
in and pet them... they think that is the reason you all come
in. Is it??
